A few days ago my boyfriend came to town after me not seeing him for two months. i went to his hotel room to see him and of course we started making out and things lead farther. we don’t use condoms because i am on birth control and i trust him. in the middle of intercourse his father knocked on his hotel room door so we stopped and i went in the bathroom. i peed while i was in there but it burned. this however isn’t uncommon and i usually have this feeling when i pee right after sex. once his father left we resumed intercourse but this time i didn’t pee right afterwards. it’s been three days and i still have that burning sensation when i pee. i’m a little concerned because it’s definitely an uncomfortable feeling. i still feel the burning sensation even when i am not peeing. i haven’t been with anyone besides my boyfriend and i don’t believe he’s been with anyone other than me since we started dating. i want to go to a doctor but unfortunately the only person i know that takes my insurance is my school and it’s kinda far to travel. i need to know if this is something that will go away or if i need to see a doctor
