When To Do A Baby Shower

I’m going to say 25-30 weeks however I have never had a baby shower as this is my first pregnancy. 
My reasons are: 
20-25 weeks will find out the gender so will have a gender reveal party around then. 
30+ weeks could potentially be too uncomfortable to enjoy the party. 
So 25-30 weeks the gender reveal would have happened about a month before and should still be comfortable to enjoy the party.

I was 36 weeks when I had mine, which was definitely pushing it but if schedules hadn't conflicted I would have loved to do it anytime between 30-35 weeks. At 36 weeks my body was just starting to feel the effects of my babe but I had plenty of time to organize without making myself crazy. 
We had already purchased our big ticket items before the shower; stroller, car seat, crib. As far as, "what if I deliver early and I don't have everything I NEED," all you NEED for a newborn is a safe place to sleep, some diapers and clothes, and formula if you don't breast feed. Everything else is just extras to make life easier and you'll know better what those are for you once baby is here. For myself, I just made a list of the extras I felt I still needed and sent my momma to target to pick them up for me (wipe warmer, different swaddles, diaper genie, etc) every baby is different so you never really know what you'll need until your babe is here.

Definitely 25-30 so you have time to get what isn’t purchased for you. Also my baby came early.
