I feel offended, please let me know if I’m interpreting this wrong.

I had planned to reveal the gender of my baby today on the Fourth of July with fireworks 🎇. I thought it was an awesome idea. Right now, I’m 15 weeks and 3 days. My doctor told me it’s to early, so I was not able to get prepared for the 4th. I have decided to throw myself a birthday party in August and reveal with fireworks on that day. My cousin texted me and I felt as if she shot my idea down. Please see he messages below
