Breastfeeding and Blood Thinners??

Just found out I'm expecting baby #3! after Baby #2 I had a massive blood clot and because of family history, will forever be on blood thinners. currently on Eliquis. Will get an appt soon to switch to Lovenox during pregnancy. Have any of you breastfed on ANY blood thinner other than Waferin (my doc does not think that will work well for me). thanks!!

I've been told I can ill be on fragmin for 6 weeks after labour due to a hemmorage during labour number 2 x

My baby is 5 weeks old, and I’m currently taking warfarin. I had unexplained blood clots a couple years ago so I had to be on Lovenox while pregnant and then 6 weeks postpartum. However, I thought my doctor said both Lovenox and Warfarin were safe while breastfeeding... so maybe you can take Lovenox shots instead after baby’s born if that works better for you!
