Hypothyroidism, clomid and ovulation!
So me and my husband are trying to have our first child! I have hypothyroidism and just have never been pregnant even though we use no protection. I finally went to my gynecologist and he put me on Clomid to help me ovulate, provera (to start my period because it’s been all out of wack), and metformin to help with weight loss. We figured out that I just wasn’t ovulating which explained why I kept having spotting/periods for months when my primary doctor would just say “oh it will quit” UM no it won’t... he (my Gyno) explained everything to me as far as my progesterone levels etc. well I finished my clomid and I’ve been taking Ovulation tests since cycle day 9 just to see if I could catch myself ovulating because I’m too impatient to wait on my doctor to tell me on cycle day 21 when I do my blood work. So according to my glow app I would ovulate around July 3rd. Well I also bought a digital test and it kept having the big 0 instead of a smiley face. Or the blinking smiley face. I was loosing hope and said well it will happen next month. I took my ovulation tests this morning and immediately started bawling because I got a SOLID SMILEY FACE and a positive Ovulation test on the non digital! Cycle day 16!! Im so so happy. Even if we don’t get pregnant this go around, im just so happy to know that I CAN ovulate and that I CAN have a baby. 💕 Ofcoarse I really hope we get pregnant. Any advice on how often I should have sex today?? And tomorrow??? We’ve been doing it every other day. But I just want to make sure we have every chance we get! Also when did any of you start to feel pregnant?? Besides taking a test?? I’m just so impatient and wanna know like legit the second I’m pregnant 😂😂😂
And the tests that are non digital faded for sure. But you can see where it was kinda going in and out on my LH surge.
This is a more clear picture of me taking the photos immediately after getting the results and plugging them into my glow app, I seriously love this feature!!
