went to hospital July 4th 5pm. didnt need cervadil bc already 2.5 cm dilated & soft cervix. next morning 6:00 started pitocin. broke water about 7:20. by 10 I requested pain med through iv. instantly felt loopy & didnt like it. was 4cm dilated assumed i would be there all night. med wore off I requested epidural & received by 12. I felt so out of it took a nap. could still feel contractions & pushed a little each contraction. checked. at 2:00 was 10 cm dilated. after 20 min of pushing baby girl was here! labor was so smooth !
