Christmas presents for a 2 week old?

Question

I have a son who will be 19 months this Christmas. I’m also pregnant and due Dec 5th. Do I buy her Christmas presents too? My son was 7 months last Christmas so we obviously bought him toys but I’m not sure if you should so young??
I feel like if I don’t my son may wonder why she doesn’t have any? 
For those with December babies, did you/will you buy presents for them?

I would just get some little things like teethers and some board books.

I wouldn’t go crazy, but maybe grab a few things that baby needs. Maybe some type of memorabilia item for when they’re older. Like a blanket or stuffy with their birth stats? Other than that, I’d stick to what you need or will use. Books, bigger sizes in clothing that you don’t have yet, that sort of thing.

My son was born December 5. We got him like 4 things... a Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair that I wanted to get him anyway, and then just baby toys. We spent very little (unlike the next year 😂), but at least it was still Christmas!

Our daughter will be about a month at Christmas and I don’t plan on getting her anything. We’ll have just had the baby shower a few months before and she’ll be so little she won’t know the difference. I think our parents will probably get her presents though

You can always wrap a few of baby’s things up from around the house that you already have. That way the other kid won’t feel like baby is left out and you don’t have to spend extra money. Or just get a few things that you need.

My now 2 year old son was born December 9th. For Christmas honestly I didn't get him much I got him a stuffed animal or 2 and I think bought something he could grab on to in the next couple months that makes noise but that is it.

My first was born exactly 2 weeks before Christmas. heck yeah he got presents. Obviously not toys, but a play mat, clothes, etc.

My baby was like 2 1/2 weeks old and got gifts. He got little toys, clothes, diapers, stuffed animals.. Small stuff. Nothing crazy. These were gifts from Other people.

I think I’d just buy some clothes and maybe some story time books to read to them. I had my daughter in September and even then, all that we got her was clothing, some teethers, and my grandma made her some flannel baby blankets.

Ours will be about a month then, and I know I may cave and buy an outfit or something, but as of now I’m not planning on getting her anything. We have 3 sets of grandparents very close by, and I know one of them has already started buying. But again, I know that’ll change once I have a little girl in my arms
