I am posting today on behalf of my wife.

She started having contractions around 8pm and strengthened around 12 am when we decided to go the the L&D.;

Upon arrival we were told she was only dilated 1cm but her contractions were constant and extreme.

Two hours into our visit, they gave her a shot for pain medicine to see if her contractions were actual labor or false labor.

Two hours after the pain medicine, the nurse advised she was still at a 1 and the doctor wanted us to head home.

The nurse came in and had the discharge papers in her hand for my wife to sign when my wife noticed something gush!!

The nurse took a sample and said WELL looks like you’re staying here - your water just broke!

Needless to say....trust your instincts mommas! Your body knows when it’s time
