My younger brother suddenly shut out his family after having an argument with my mom . His rich gfs dad bought them a beach house and he was moving out to live with her. My mom asked if she could have an address for emergencies and he wouldnt give her one bc he felt she would come by uninvited and his gf wouldnt be comfortable with her even visiting. My mom invited them to her bday dinner but my brother said no. His gf was welcome to come but she told him they had plans to see her cousins. His gf is so needy that she attends every family function/meeting. They facetime at every dinner and she expects him at her house with her family every holiday. His fight is with my mom but hes shut me and my older brother out completely too. Its been more than a year. Since then, I had our 2nd baby.. our first girl. Shes now 8 months old and hes never met her. No congrats.. nothing. My older brother is going through mental health issues and tried to commit suicide. I told him.. no response. Ive been texting him.. and calling him. Nothing. Not even one single text back. Its like talking to a wall. My mom still pays for his phone bill. Shes afraid that its her only way of communication with him so she wont cut him off. She cries every night. Shes apologized and texted him how sorry she is . Now shes telling us to just give him space and that shes happy as long as he is. Am I right to just pretend hes dead to me from now on? What should I do when he comes crawling back? Hes 26 years old ans hes acting like a teen. Before he shut us out he told me hes going to make up for this after he focuses on work and school but now I doubt it. Hes a selfish cold heartless bastard. My 4yo doesnt even remember him anymore..
