VBAC with induction?

Has anyone been induced and still been able to have a VBAC? I had a c-section with my first b/c he was breech. I'm pregnant with my second and I have a condition where I have to deliver at 38 weeks but I really really want a VBAC. Has anyone been induced and had a successful VBAC?

Yes I had one 2016 I . They induced me because I was gonna have a c section anyways that following week so they wanted to at least give me chance to try . I went in a Saturday Morning . Had my son early Monday morning . And now 30 weeks pregnant I’m hoping and praying for the same . So it is possible .

You can be induced after a c-section, it’s just how they go about doing it(meds)

My doctor scheduled me to be induced but went into labor naturally after she stripped the membranes. They had to break my water and give pitocin to help speed it up, in the end I had a successful vbac! It can be  done, I hope the best for you. Oh and at no point did my doctor tell me it wasn’t possible.

My doc is planning on inducing me at 38 was as well (gd and poly). My 2 year old daughter was an emergency c-section but my doc said no reason can’t try for vbac. She did say there were certain induction meds they would not give me because of the previous csection (cytotec I think). I hope it works out for you and good luck!

they can't induce after a csection. that's what my drs said. have to go into labor on your own
