Anyone have a membrane sweep?

If you did, how long until you went into labor or was it unsuccessful for you? 
I’m 39 weeks and considering getting one at my appointment on Wednesday since I’m already 3cm dilated.

I had two and nothing happened. It was pretty painful too

I had one, just felt like a period cramp while she did it and had my baby 2 days later

I had one with my daughter, labor started within hours, and had her the following morning.

I had two, very painful and did nothing really. The first set off contractions that didn’t go anywhere so left me in labour for 6 days. I regret them massively.
