Ricotta cheese?

I want to make lasagna tonight but i keep seeing mixed opinions about eating ricotta cheese. Is it safe to eat? I bought the pasteurized one but is it safe?

Any pasteurized cheese is fine

It’s fine but I personally prefer my lasagne without!  Motz and maybe some provolone are all you need!  I find ricotta watery and flavorless.

Pasteurized is fine. And unpasteurized is fine as long as it is heated.
