I started birth control pills on the 27th of June. My period is 4 days late now, and is usually never late.

I was given the brand Aubra
And yes she recommended i start as soon as possible even tho it was in the middle of my cycle

You started your pills mid-cycle. Your period will be late because of the hormone. You should get it during your placebo pills instead of when the predicted time was before starting your bc pill!

What kind of birth control did you get prescribed? Every one I know of you are supposed to start taking when you get your period. Maybe that's why you're late because you've thrown your cycle off by adding hormones at the wrong time.
