Thoughts on ovulation?

I just started cycle tracking the last few months with my husband and I ttc. I’m on cycle day 16 and no signs of ovulation yet.. is this cycle deemed anovulatory? I took a OPK tonight to try figure out where I’m at in the cycle. I have been on BC for the last 6+ years and always had a normal 28 day cycle.

No ovulation yet. But doesn’t mean you won’t ovulate. Just means it might be late.

Definitely not early enough to be considered anovulatory. Just haven’t ovulated yet. Unfortunately, regular cycles before BC or on BC are not predictive of cycles after BC because you’re older and your body may have changed. I would continue to take OPKs and bd every other day so you don’t miss it!
