Cerclages???

Anybody else here with a Cerclage? Do you have sex or are you still on pelvic rest?

All my high risk docs said no sex but the one “Male” doc said there are other ways... 😳awkward lol...

I had a preventive cerclage placed at 10 weeks (currently 22). On pelvic rest the entire time. We lost twins due to unexpected incompetent cervix with my first pregnancy, so we don’t mind being extra cautious.

I’m asking because my high risk doctor cleared me to have sex back at 16 weeks but every other obgyn I’ve seen has said PELVIC REST PELVIC REST.... so I’m sort of confused 🤷🏽‍♀️ we have had sex a few times, it’s highly uncomfortable and all I can think the whole time is how bad I’d feel if anything were to happen so I don’t even really enjoy it or connect. I was just curious about other experiences
