Please help! I need advice.

Brianna

I began working at a daycare 2 months ago. They needed more people and I'm an early childhood education student at a local college.

They even asked if I would be interested in taking over the head pre-k position upon graduation.

Here's the problem. They kept offering me lower and lower pay the more we talked about me starting there and then my pay stubs say even lower than what the email with the official job offer stated. Add that to the fact that the director told me "oh sure full time won't be an issue you can be full time" ...and here I am with a 25/hr work week on avg.

In addition, I'm not that happy there. I don't make enough money and my BF and I kinda need to move out soon so I have to be making more and I need full time.

I applied to another job posting for a FT receptionist (pto, benefits, 401k, vacation/sick time) and they recently asked for a phone interview. If I get offered the job I really want to take it but I feel really guilty since I know the daycare struggles with staffing and high staff turnover

What on earth should I do? Do I accept the job and move on with my life? Or do i stay at a job I really don't like because morally I feel obligated to?
