Take a bath 3 Weeks Postpartum?

Can you take a bath 3 Weeks Postpartum? I am craving to soak and just relax tonight after my husband gets homes.

If vaginal, the rules may be different.  For a csection I was told not until after 6 weeks as you need to keep the incision dry.
 
But I agree that NO bath products (not even soap that would linger in the water).  Soak in water only and then drain and shower with soap.  That’s what my friend did who had a vaginal birth.

3 weeks pp you are perfectly fine, I took one as soon as I came home from the hospital and I was perfectly fine 😂 I feel if helped me heal honestly, put some Epsom salt in there to help too

Oh yea! Dh made me epsom salt baths when I got out of the hospital to help my coochie heal lol. They felt AWESOME!

You can take a bath right away. Just no bubbles or anything like that

I was also told it was ok to as long as I didn’t put anything in the water and only for about 10 min. I took one the other day and I’m only a week pp but it helped a lot. If you’re still bleeding you will bleed heavier right after too

I was told not to because of the possibility of water going up and in my vagina, risking infection. I tore BADLY and my doctor said no bathing until I was fully healed.

i was told it was ok but to nor use any products like bubble bath or bath salts. and to avoid anything in general thatvwas scented
