Partner acts in the same manner as our 3YO

Today my 3 year old wanted to bake cupcakes. I reminded her if she is well behaved than we can make all the cupcakes she wanted but if she messes up she can’t do special things like this. Well she messed up but begged & promised she wouldn’t mess up again and once we bake cupcakes she’ll behave and be good. At this moment I realised her grown ass father is exactly the same! After he done me wrong, he went out again with his mates, I told him to have fun but do not have me out here looking like a fool. Comes the next morning & I hear he’s done exactly that, then he begs and pleads he won’t do it again and promises it won’t happen again, until next time and it’s the same story. WHY OH WHY are some males out here acting in the same manner as their toddler children . Smh #ParentingMyPartner
