Need some help!

Background story: I am very irregular and never really know when my periods will come. We have been trying for 8 months now. On June 26 I took a test it came back negative. Still hadn’t started my period by July 9th (last period was May 28th, so pretty normal for me to not have started yet) but wanted to double check. Took 4 test and all came back positive. I had already had an ultrasound scheduled for the 12th because my dr wanted to check things. So I called my dr telling her I had 4 positive tests, I came in for blood work and ultrasound. They didn’t find anything on ultrasound but said she did see that I had ovulated. Got a call today saying my levels were low and she was thinking maybe a miscarriage. She didn’t tell me what my levels were. I am going back Monday for another blood test. Is it possible that I could just be really early along in my pregnancy and that’s why my levels are low? Thanks!
