Silly question.... but the nationality of my baby is what?

I’m white, and he is Mexican.  So what does that make her when filing out paperwork?  Do we checkmark the “white” and “Hispanic” boxes both?

as far as nationality goes,  if shes born in the United states of America, shes an American citizen.
as far as race goes, shes both.  but often parents choose just one. personally,  I would choose both.

My dad’s white (Jewish/Austrian) and mom Hispanic (Tejano and Spanish), and I always check both “Caucasian” and “Hispanic” under ethnicity. Even if it says you can only check one, then there’s typically another question that says something like “ Are you of Hispanic descent?”
Your child will be both and it’s a beautiful thing ❤️ I love that my children are all I am plus Italian, Irish, and Native American from my husband!

My mom his Hispanic(Spanish) and my Dad is white. I always just check Caucasian on my stuff 🤷‍♀️
