Would you buy a use car OR a new car?

So, I’m thinking on buying a used car, but idk what exactly where to check if the car might have errors... any ideas?!

You can look on cargurus and find nice used cars there or you can look on Facebook Marketplace. I think it all depends on the type of money you have and if you want to have payment options and the type of car you want. Hope this helps you out.

I've always bought used cars from individual's. I don't know much about vehicles, but luckily my fiance does. Plus my brother is a mechanic & I always get his opinion first. I personally don't like the idea of having payments with a new car from a dealership. I'd much rather pay for something straight out & own it immediately. I've bought cars from people I found on fb pages & also family.

Used cars are good because you don’t have to pay interest or go into debt for them. If you find a car you like you can look up its ANCAP safety rating (Australia) which will give you specifics on how safe it is. Basically with older cars you want to make sure it doesn’t have a history of break downs, faults, replacements, crashes etc. It’s also important to test drive it and see how smooth it is and how it drives 😊

I’ve only done certified pre-owned from a reputable car dealership. I’ve financed my car, but because I live in NYC, I would never get a brand new car. That’s just me. 🤷🏽‍♀️
