Did you make a registry for your second baby?

This is my second baby. I’m not planning on having a shower, but I know certain friends and family members will definitely want to get us something. Do I make a registry?

Yes but it was just for myself like a checklist and then so I could get the completion discounts.

My friends have started a little tradition of having brunch together and exchanging gifts for second, third, fourth babies. We would get each other something anyway and it’s fun to get together. Otherwise I don’t really hear of showers for a second baby, unless maybe it’s a different sex than the first. 
That being said, I still make a secret registry for each pregnancy, but just so I can get a completion discount on things around my due date 😬

I think it's extremely tacky to have a shower or expect gifts from family and friends. Of course they'll prob bring stuff when they come meet the baby and I think that's more then enough.

I really want to have a shower for the second but I think I’d just do diapers and crafts. People seem to be curmudgeonly about second showers now which makes me sad. We’ll see if I end up having one.

A lot of places like amazon or target give you free things if you have a registry. I made one since I have family who will want to buy even if I don’t have a shower. Also I wanted the free items.

I am but it’s for myself so I can see what I still need to get. My son is 3 1/2 and I tried to save stuff but stuff got thrown out unfortunately!! But what if it’s a girl?

every baby deserves to be celebrated in my opinion. were just doing a backyard bbq & will be creating a registry

I won’t be making one for this second baby. People were already generous buying for my first, and I would feel rude and tacky asking for more. I think it’s one thing if people ask what they can get you, but wouldn’t make one just because.
