Anyone have experience with this? We had a reliable person to take our daughter when the time comes. I’m 5 weeks from due date, but expected to go in 3-4 weeks. My first daughter was early as well. & doctor will induce August 6th if baby isn’t here yet. BUT, this reliable person is now having to work more shifts at her job. I can’t tell her no you can’t be working. & it’s at a bar so she can’t just leave or get anyone to fill in. We live in a small town. Family 20 miles or more out on farms and no one else reliable around. One person in another town and could beat us to the hospital, but if it’s early AM I hate to wake anyone and/or wait as we are 2 hours away from the hospital. Wondering if anyone has had experience with bringing children into the delivery room. I wouldn’t even care if she sat and watched YouTube videos or Netflix the entire time. I just don’t want to be a burden on anyone! It’s a busy time of year for farming family too so placing her elsewhere is tough. Help!!!
