when to announce?

I'm currently 12 weeks and last time I got to 12 weeks i announced but this time i haven't heard the baby's heartbeat other than my doppler nor have I gotten an ultrasound. I do have an appointment on the 23 but I have to pretty much trick them into wording it correctly for tricare to cover an ultrasound. but, when do you mama's think I should announce?

We really wanted to wait, especially since it was our first, just to be safe, but we didn’t even make it 3 days I believe and we told our moms and then family & friends. Good thing tho because my doctor really gave me the run around and bullshat me forever. We found out in January and he kept saying he was gonna get an ultrasound scheduled since my first appt with him and I never even got one til the end of May. I couldn’t call and make an appt with an OB because we didn’t know for sure exactly how far we were.

You can announce whenever you feel like you’re comfortable announcing I personally wouldn’t announce until after I see my baby on an ultrasound I seen my baby at six weeks five days with heartbeat but I’m still scared to announce I probably will not announce until I am 14 or 16 weeks

Honestly, whenever you feel comfortable.
I told a few friends last time but unfortunately had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. It wasn't that I didn't mind telling them I miscarried but it was hard for the first few weeks. 
I will tell the majority of people after 12 weeks but will wait longer to announce on social media this time around. We are going on holiday shortly after the 12 week scan so I will announce it there when we are back.
I think I'm just getting a bit anxious now, I don't want to people to get too happy for us until I know it's real sort of thing. I saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks but because of my loss last time, I just need to be sure x
