UTI???

Question

Can anyone help with common symptoms of a UTI. I had sex 3 days ago and my vagina hurts and feels slightly itchy. What do I do? I was on my period when we had sex...don’t know if that could increase the chances?
UPDATE- I’ve made a doctors appointment but it’s not until Thursday because they didn’t have any before then. Can anyone suggest anything I could do to help the soreness/itching?

Sounds like a yeast infection. Do u have any painful or frequent urination at all? Those are the big signs of a UTI. If there is a odor at all and itch I would say yeast infection. Otherwise both would need antibiotic

that is not a UTI. that is either raw skin or it's bacterial vaginosis. u need a check up

UTI’s don’t cause painful vaginas and itching. It’s typically abdominal pain and an increased urge to urinate.

That doesn’t sound like a UTI....UTIs usually burn, especially when you pee. Definitely a good idea to see a doctor to confirm what you have. Good luck!
