First Period after delivery and milk production?

Hi all,
I think aunt flo just showed up-6 weeks postpartum. I heard this can lessen milk production.
So I am wondering two things:
1) How long after delivery did it take for your period to return?
2) Did you notice any impact to your milk supply?

6 weeks and yes I started having to fight to keep my supply up. I managed to do it, but I ended up stopping the mini pill because I was constantly on a period and my supply was all over the place.

It took me 9 months and yes the first 2 months I did see a decrease and had to use donor milk. I didn’t know about it then but if it take a magnesium supplement it can help you not have a decrease at the time of the month.
