I got invited to two weddings on the same day. Both people are very important to me. Idk what the fuck to do.

Wedding 1: we never got a save the date but we have the full invite for this one. I’ve known the bride my entire life, we are three months apart and our moms were best friends in high school. We kept in touch over the years (we’re 30). I wouldn’t call us close but we always pick up where we left off and I would love to see her get married. Most of my good childhood memories involve her and her family. Her mom passed away in May and she invited my mom, husband and me to her wedding which is a state away and a 2ish hour drive. I wasn’t actually sure she would invite us all because we are definitely a reminder of her mom.

Wedding 2: we’ve only got a save the date for this one so far and we got that before the invite to the other wedding. I’ve known the groom for 15 years. He is truly one of my best and longest friends. The type of person who would drop everything to help you whenever you need. His bride to be is amazing, I love her. I don’t see them nearly as much as I would like, but I also would love to see them get married.

Both families are awesome. Both parties will be a fucking blast. Both are important to me.

How on Earth do I decide? What’s the right answer? What would you do? Why? Help!
