I have a cold sore that popped up yesterday around 10pm. I took the valtrex and it spread anyway I guess I caught it to late. To eliminate the healing process I’m still taking it. I took one today around 10am this morning. Should I take another now? It’s currently 10pm that’s 12 hours from now. The first one I took was way yesterday when I first noticed so it’s technically not three doses the one I’m getting ready to take will be my second dose for today. Then I’ll wait til 10am tmr morning.. I have the 500mg dose which is normally tooken twice a day 12 hours apart correct? So should I take this second one now?
