I started wearing them around 8 weeks because normal clothes were starting to feel a bit snug and if I have to buy special maternity clothes, I want to get as much wear out of them as possible!

I'm 9 weeks, my pants fit but are uncomfortable around my tummy it's just really sensitive.
I went shopping for maternity jeans today to have them when my pants stop fitting.
I will be wearing them immediately and little else. So incredibly comfortable!!!!

Go for it! I have to get to a maternity store and get some pants that will pass off as black slacks because the ones I have for work now push on my belly and I feel like they are causing some of my cramps! and of course it's for work so I cant just wear something else :(

I think it varies for everyone. I was super bloated weeks 7-10 or so and wore my looser clothes (lots of maxi dresses and shift dresses and the ponytail trick on my shorts and pants, and billowy tops) but then it went back down again and I didn’t really start wearing my maternity clothes until about 25 weeks.
