I'm 37+4 and just absolutely miserable. I've been exhausted for weeks now and I know the baby has dropped since I can feel his movements very low. Last week at the OB i was 50% effaced and 3cm dialated but this is also my 4th baby. Yesterday evening I started experiencing back pain in my mid back. I wouldn't say it extends to my lower back where I know most people feel back labor. It just in the middle of my back and radiating. Today it is worse then yesterday and I've also noticed a little bit of lightening vaginal pains and contractions. But I don't know if the contractions are Braxton Hicks or not. They're not very painful just a lot of tightening of the stomach which I've had normally for a while now, BUT I am experiencing a minor amount of pain when they occur which is different for me. I guess I'm just wondering what you guys think? Is it too high to be back labor? Could it be very early labor? Am I just suffering the effects of a very pregnant belly? Nothing is concerning enough or painful enough to go to the hospital.
