Sex during pregnancy!?!?

Question

I was wondering if you are able to have sex while you're pregnant? Some people I know wouldn't recommend it. But how far along can you have sex. 
Also is it true that having sex when you're close to your due date that that can help you conceive if the baby didn't come in time? You know to help move the baby along?

35 weeks and we keep doing it 4 times a week!

Perfectly safe up until the day you give birth, and yes my dr has told me to have sex to try and induce labor... so once I get around my date I will be doing it as much as possible!!

Sex while pregnant is very good and toward the end of your pregnancy can help induce you if your ready to get the baby out. In the end it’s healthy

My doctor told me sex was fine as long as my fiancé didn’t.. “finish” in me 😂 trying to keep it classy but yeah she said it could cause my cervix to thin and since they though mine was already starting to thin at 20 weeks they were watching me for a while, I was also told it could make the mucus plug start to come out in small chunks which happens with some woman naturally since the mucus plus can regrow but again they were watching me for preterm labor.. just have your man be a little more gentle than usual if he isn’t already and you should be ok
