I just had my baby 2 weeks ago. I suffered a fourth degree tear during my labor that stretched all the way into my uterus and I nearly bled out. a rectal doctor had to be called in to repair me from behind to front and my delivery doctor repaired me from the front. after 2 weeks everything is going smoothly and I'm finally feeling better. my boyfriend has been really pushing having sex but I know my doctors stressed the 6 week wait. he keeps telling me the doctors only suggest that and as long as I feel fine it's fine. I'm terrified of my stitches ripping or causing more bleeding. he says my stitches should be healed by now. so is he right? do doctors only suggest that?
