Losing virginity?

I like hearing peoples opinions and what not and especially people I dont know. I’ve been with my man for a year and 3 months . Im currently 17 and all my friends are having sex with their boyfriends . Sometimes they say just to do it , but when is it a good time to do it? Am I to young to be doing that? I think my virginity is really important & honestly at this point Im just worried I’ll end up pregnant if I do it. Opinions?

I did not start having sex until I was in a position where I could be okay having a baby. For me, that wasn’t until I got married. We are preventing pregnancy by using condoms but I know that if I got pregnant it wouldn’t be the end of the world and we could handle it.  
Mishaps and accidents and unplanned pregnancies happen. So I say that if you are not okay with getting pregnant, don’t have sex. Just wait until you are in a position to handle the consequences.

I say don’t have sex until you’re ready and 100% comfortable with the guy. For me personally I was terrified of getting pregnant young which is why I never had sex in high school, because I wasn’t comfortable talking to my parents about birrrh control. I lost my virginity last month at 19 years old and I’m happy I waited because 1) I was extremely comfortable with the guy I did it with and 2) because I can handle any consequences I chose in a responsible and timely manner. None the less, wait till you’re ready. Even if you’re laying in bed naked with the guy, and you change you’re mind he should respect your decision! He’ll, if he doesn’t then he shouldn’t be someone you’re having sex with. :)

I’m 17 and currently dating my boyfriend for almost 4 months. We had dated before but it was terrible timing so we took a break. The first time we dated, we never talked about sex. Now, we had that conversation and decided that we both are pretty positive that we were ready. We have sex very often now and I think it definitely made us closer! It was a very good decision. (I am a strong practicing Catholic, so this was a very hard decision for me, but I’m glad it happened.)
