Upper lip tie!?!

Hey ladies! I was noticing as my daughters two top teeth were coming in that they are really far apart separated by skin. I looked it up and it says an upper lip tie. Anyone else go through this?! I wish I would have known when she was a newborn!!! Is there anyway to fix it at almost a year old? Something to be worried about or no? Please help, FTM here🙋🏼‍♀️

My son's looks just like this. His teeth are really far apart, and he does have a pretty big tie but it wasn't discovered until like 7 months. It didn't effect his latch so it went unnoticed. It won't get fixed but it's fine, I love the gap

My teeth, and a super blurry photo of my daughter's teeth. I have a pretty big central gap and looks like my daughter will too. I've never had any problem with it other than going through phases of thinking it was ugly and wanting braces to fix it 😂 my mom never gave in because my teeth are otherwise straight and it's really just a cosmetic issue. I don't care about it now, plus sometimes gaps are considered fashionable so you never know 😂😂

Mines similar  my doctor said they usually fix themselves (sometimes just by normal falling and hitting it) and the other teeth coming in will help

my son is the same way, but his other two top have come in and I've noticed the gap closing. really the only one that is a problem is if she has a tongue tie, so I'm not worrying until a little bit later or if the dentist recommends anything.

My daughter has one. I know as newborns they will clip it because it can cause them not to latch, but at this age I don't know. My daughter takes a bottle and eats her solids just fine so I already decided I'm not going to do anything about it until she is older if it affects her adult teeth, when she is old enough to understand what is going on, but it might also self resolve, I haven't looked much into it.
