Please read before voting.

So my SO and I have been trying to make more of an attempt to go out on date nights when he is home since he works out of state. If we don’t we literally do nothing but run errands or do kid stuff (which is fine with us too) but our relationship has been lacking so we have wanted to make more time for each other. Mind you I am a stay at home mom so literally ALL I DO is kid stuff or run errands.

Is it bad if I plan a surprise date night for us at a nice restaurant knowing he is paying or do I just plan something basic?? If not please comment what are some good alternative options?
