I think it depends on what we are cloning and why. It can be abused, but it could be used for good.

Pretty much anything can be immoral if done for the wrong reasons. Same goes for dangerous.

In all seriousness, though. There are both benefits and cons to cloning. The con that cares me the most though is that our gene pool requires non identical genes in order to adapt. Cloning creates identical genes. I think we are foreshadowing our own destruction.

unfortunately,  with technology,  it has always been that while something is invented for a good use,  there will AWAYS be the ones that will use it with bad intentions. 
that's said, if we discourage advancements and achievements in technology,  because there are the ones that will use it for bad things, then we will never advance in anything. everything happened with the help of technology evolution. 
there will always be people using it in bad ways. just like some drivers drive like asses or drunk drivers kill someone.. I dont think the solution would be to not let anyone drive or something super drastic. punish the ones that do, as we already do. 
punish people that misuse cloning, while letting the ones that make leaps throughout history with it, continue their hard work.
