Not trying to be selfish. 😭 *posted in multiple groups.

Everytime I think of this I feel selfish, and I'm totally not trying to be! My boyfriend & I are expecting our first (a baby girl 😊) so of course we need basically everything possible (already have her stroller & car seat, bouncer, crib, and some little things including a ton of clothes, headbands & shoes) but everything we need I put on our registry; swing, rock & play, bassinet, more diapers/wipes, body wash, bottles, etc. I've also done a ton of research, and have also worked with babies & children for the last 6 years, and know exactly what I want to use for my daughter when it comes to brands & products. I'm very picky about everything, but I just want what's best for her (at least in my eyes.) So what I'm wondering is, between needing everything possible for a baby & wanting to use specific brands (I know you can return things, but still wondering) how many people actually went off of your registry? We registered with Target & put it on the invitation but what I'm nervous about is everyone being more interested in buying big tutus & bows, and a ton of newborn clothing. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Like I said, I don't want to sound ungrateful or selfish, I'm genuinely wondering so I have an idea of how much we'll still need to spend after the shower to get prepared for our baby! I'm a big planner, lol and the shower is only a month from my due date. 😥 So let me know how many people actually went off your registry, and even if they didn't, how many people brought practical, "boring" to buy stuff! ☺️
