My friend wants to get matching nipple piercings and I’m so freaked out should I do it ? I mean my boyfriend is not happy about it and says it’s a turn off but he’s close minded about everything. I mean should I just jump and make my 17th birthday one to remember ? Please help

Aside from you needing to make the decision yourself, you’re 16. About to celebrate your 17th birthday. No professional piercer will pierce your nipples underage. And if they’re willing to do so, they’re a creep and unprofessional and you shouldn’t be going there anyways. Wait until you’re 18. Think it through. If you want it then do it. And also, sure you should consider your bfs feeling on it but! At the end of the day it is YOUR body. If you like the way it looks do not let someone else talk you out of it. And don’t let him make you feel bad for it because he says it’s a turn off. He should be supportive of the decisions you make with your body. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don’t let anyone make a decision for you. Do your own research and make the decision because it’s your body. If you’re concerned about the lasting effects, like I said, do your research.

Yeah I'd be out on this one. If it was me(not saying you're 
of the same mentality... this is just my perspective) I would put my boyfriend's wishes above my friend's.  I don't know how you and your boyfriend are, but to me it's a little disrespectful to do something after they have explicitly stated that they don't like it. 
But hey, it's your body.
