Dentist? Brushing teeth?

My son will be 6 months in 11 days. But I already want to be prepared to when I’m supposed to take him to the dentist. He already has two teeth.

First check up is recommended at one year! It will mostly likely be a quick peek and a ride in the chair to get your LO used to the idea.
Start brushing as soon as there are teeth at night before your LO goes to bed with water, after milk or formula. :)

When I went to dentist for my check up I asked my dentist when they recommended seeing a baby and he said before they are one no matter if they have teeth or not. He saw my daughter that same day when she was 8 months old with no teeth she is now 1 and has 5 teeth and going back in September.

It’s recommended where I live to get the baby to the dentist as early as possible to get them used to it. My baby is 9 months and has his first appointment tomorrow. He has 4 teeth and I brush them with a general family toothpaste morning and night and then let him chew the toothbrush to get him used to doing it himself

We started brushing my daughters gums when she was about 3-4 months old, had her first dentist appt at 1 year and goes every 6 months with mama. We’ve never had an issue with her not wanting to brush her teeth she begs to at all hours of the day

Does anyone have tips on how to get your child to like having their teeth brushed? My daughter is 15 months old and HATES it. I've even tried brushing my teeth with her.
