My Chinese wedding!

First thing I want to say is that being in a biracial relationship in China is a very rare thing. Especially when it’s a foreign girl with a chinese man! We are stared at constantly every single day.

So I moved to China 2 and a half years ago. It was only meant to be a temporary thing, something different because I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.

At first I just partied all the time with the other foreigners here but after about 1 year things started to change and I really started to settle down.

I started to work in a kindergarten and finally found a job that I didn’t dread going into everyday.

I was dating a chinese guy for about 6 months but maybe half of that time we were apart because of travelling but that ended in August last year and I wasn’t even upset so that proves how much I wasn’t really into him.

Anyway! 3 days after breaking up, I went onto a chinese dating app and met my now husband.

I’ve had some really shitty verbally abusive relationships in the past but this was finally different.

I had finally found him and I knew I he was the one.

6 months later we legally got married...

And then 4 months later we had our official wedding!

Also my parents came to China for the first time and met my husband for the first time!

I literally couldn’t be happier right now and I can’t wait to have this mans babies!!!
