Induced due to high Bp?

Question

Has anyone went in for a regular weekly dr apt and then been sent to the hospital? My bp is running 151/96 today so I came home from work. Dr apt tomorrow, just wondering what my chances are for being induced tomorrow

Yes mine was similar to yours at my check up yesterday so I was taken in for monitoring. Luckily my BP stablized but my induction is set for next week at 37 weeks exactly.

My bp was almost the same as yours at 36 weeks, I have to get non stress tests twice a week now, and so far so good! No talk of induction yet.

Yes, I had very high blood pressure and I also had major swelling so they sent me to the hospital after a regular check up at around 36 weeks with my first. They tested me for preeclampsia while hospitalized. I didn’t have it, but ended up with it at the very end of my pregnancy. I went into labor on my own one day after my due date. They did not want to induce me because they thought my daughter would be 10+ pounds making matters worse for me. I ended up with a c-section that nearly killed me. Scary stuff...But she was well worth it all!

Well as of today at 37+3 I am still not dilated and cervix is still high up. My bp has been really high and had a small trace of protein in my urine for the first time

Yep. Last year at 39 weeks I went in for a routine appointment and my blood pressure was high. They immediately sent me upstairs to be monitored in triage and once I got there they told me I was being induced. My blood pressure had only been high 1 other time at 16 weeks for my whole pregnancy so i wasn’t diagnosed with pre-e or hypertension but I think since I was so far along they played it safe.

same 30 + 6 and my bp is through the roof they put me on meds and I am on bed rest and a nurse comes to see me everyday at my house to do a non stress test

Something kinda like that happened to me.   I went in with high bp so they did a nonstress test and an ultrasound and baby was doing ok.  I had to do a 24 hour urine collection to check to see if I had protein in it. Once that came back I went back in for another non stress test. And she decided I should be induced. That was a Friday and the earliest she could schedule it was a Sunday. So I had to take it easy the rest of the weekend. Then at 36 weeks I had my little guy.
