Polyamory and non-monogamy

I want any information, opinions, stories, advice or anything anyone has to offer on the topic of polyamory or non-monogamy !!

Polyamory is the philosophy or state of being in love or romantically involved with more than one person at the same time.  I am really interesting in trying a polyamorous realationship for myself.  There are many reasons why I feel this relationship structure would be very suitable for me and would make me feel more fulfilled in my romantic and sexual life.  Before anyone calls me a slut, know I am not considering this as an option just to be promiscuous and sleep around.  I truly feel like I can and want to be in loving committed realationships with more than one person at a time.  Currently I imagine having polyamorous relationships like having some really loving and intimate friendships.  Please share anything you have to share about this topic.
