Side Effects

Ok help. So I've been on the pill for a little over a year and am usually good with taking it at the same time everyday, but yes I have missed few here and there. My boyfriend and I have sex almost everyday and he almost always finishes inside.

Now I'm trying to figure out wether or not I should take a pregnancy test because lately I've been feeling SUPER nauseous, which was never an issue before.

Can nausea happen anytime as a side effect or just the first few months?? Google isn't much help because it says it could be either, and I don't have a doctor right now. What do you all think? Should I take the test?
