Pineapple Upside down Success

I’m so excited I JUST made my first pineapple upside down cake!

I basically took from two different recipes 1 for presentation and the other for how to make the cake!

I was pressed for time and didn’t want to make it too difficult. So I bought Betty Crocker super moist yellow cake mix and made it according to the package substituting 3/4 of water for pineapple juice and added only a little water for my 1 cup of liquid.

I used a 9in round cake pan. I melted 1 stick of butter and poured it into the pan. Then I crumpled brown sugar into the butter and lined it with pineapples 🍍 and cherries 🍒. Last I poured my cake batter over the pineapples and cherries and baked it for 40 minutes on 350 degrees! So proud of this!
