Should I start the pill today??

Hi guys! I’m a newbie when it comes to birth control and I need some advice!

I went to a clinic today and got the pill (Larissia) I’m on the last day of my period (lasted 7 days) but I’m not sure if its okay to start it today? Should I wait for Sunday since it’s currently Thursday or wait until my next period?

Will I be okay if I start today or will it mess with the cycle I have now? ?

I’m pretty eager to start but if I will be protected better if I start later than I will.
