how do you react when one of your friends tells you he/she has feelings for you but you don't?

Don’t ghost them or anything, they told you they like you in confidence. That will make them feel really shitty, maybe just be there for them, be a good friend then maybe they will realise it’s okay to be just friends

it depends. if theyre respectful then its fine. if they arent, then i stop being friend

I went through it the other way around. I told a friend I liked him, he said it was best if we stayed friends and then we just pretended it never happened and we had no problems. Soon after that my feelings went away anyway.
