So my guy and I tried period sex. It was a first for each of us. I’m always super horny during my period, so I liked it, but the reality did not meet his expectations.

After the fact, we talked about it. He said he was expecting red blood, but when he got out it was black. I told him this is old blood. I was near the end of my period (thought that’d be less traumatic than the early days:

Anyway, he said he was open to trying again. The dark color just freaked him out. Is there an ideal time in my cycle to try again? I’m very regular. My periods last 7 days. Day 1 is a light flow. Day 2 and 3 are my heaviest. Day 4 it starts to taper. Day 6-7 it’s light again, but brown since the blood is older.

I’m glad he didn’t close the door on the whole thing from one time’s experience. I’m just so horny for a week of each month, I thought that if I could pick a time in my cycle that gives him a better experience that he’d be someone who believes “God gave me a sword and swords get bloody.” 😉

Anyone with more period sex experience, let me know if there’s anything I could do/should know to give him a better experience and make this a realistic possibility from time to time. 🙌🏼 I’ll totally respect his decision if he’s not a fan of period sex.
