Ladies how much $$$ was 1 cycle of IVF meds?

I am getting a little nervous to start my IVF journey. I just got word from our insurance company that our medications will cost us $6,400 after insurance. I am from NJ. How much did you pay?

I was told anywhere between 5-$8000. Depending on the doses. I started at 225 gonal F and increased to 300. I was also on micro-dose lupron. I think the gonal F was around $450 a vial. I stimmed a total of 13 days. I was able to apply my medications towards my insurance deductible, so I ordered only $5400 worth to start, so I could hit it. Then a few days later I ordered the rest, which was then covered 100% by insurance. Total though, it was probably another $1200 bringing the total to $6600.

I’m also from NJ my total was close to $19k for medicine but my insurance covered $18k leaving us to pay little over a thousand out of pocket.

We spent $3,600 initially, increase hormone level for a total of $4,200 through Fertility Pharmacy of America. We paid all cash, but they had agreements with our doctors office for discounts. We shopped around pharmacies and asked for discounts before settling on this pharmacy. IVF process (and first implantation) is an additional $16,250 for us. Indiana
