My grandparents are ALWAYS messaging me and my family about us coming over. I don’t think they understand how busy our schedules are, and we just can’t drop everything and come to dinner like in the past. They’re always trying to pry in on our lives, and always passive aggressive when they don’t like something we do. They once tried to tell my brother he needed to go back to driving school, and tried asking me weird questions to get “beef” with my parents 😒

They’re also VERY Christian, which is not a bad thing whatsoever. But when they constantly message me all the time saying “we’re praying for you” and all that, it really gets on my neves, because I’m not Christian. Yes, it’s a nice gesture, but it’s not comfortable to me.

Even if my family can’t come over, they’re CONSTANTLY asking me and my boyfriend to visit. WE. CANT. He has a busy schedule with work, and I’ve got a new job. It just can’t work.
