LO still refusing solids?

My LO still refuses solids. He ate them for a few weeks around the 6 month mark and then just stopped! He has a pediatrician appointment coming up so I'll ask then but I'm curious if anyone is in the same boat? We've tried purées, cereal, and puffs. The puffs he will eat one or two of and others he totally refuses. He's EBF also.

Try finger foods like small cut up pieces of pears, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pancake, things like that! It sounds like babe wants to feed himself 🙂

I’m kind of in the same boat. My almost 8 month old is EBF and will chew on teething crackers, carrot sticks, started big cheese etc but absolutely has zero interest in purées and baby cereal and will honestly take only tiny amounts when they are offered. She likes picking up puffs but doesn’t exactly gobble them up. I’ve been hesitating to do BLW because of the possibly chocking hazard but at this point I think I have to after almost 2 months of trying with every flavor purée and cereal. She is 21 lbs for reference so clearly getting all the nutrition she could ever need from breastmilk so not worried about her health. I think she just prefers to feed herself.
